Hebmüller "coffee can" air filter

Remember those days? Years, or shall we say, decades ago when it was still possible to score an old, used „Coffee can“ air filter for a 25Hp VW at the swap meets in Germany! It would be the find of the weekend, and whoever was lucky enough to have found one would durable with envy! „And it was only 50 Deutsche marks“ Yeah, yeah… rub it in…! Now, here's a version that we have never, ever heard anyone saying that they’d just found it, and that the vendor had no idea what it was. It's the all-time rarest-of-the-rare T-filter, the one that came standard on a 1950 built Hebmüller two-seater Cabrio. With fewer than 700 Hebmüllers built between 1949 and 1954, and only about 58 surviving 1950 Hebs, the chances of you finding one of these filters are slim to none!
